Homework Artist Study

Arthur Fellig was born in Zloczew, Poland in 1899. When he was 11 his family moved to United States and they settled in New York City. He left school at the age 14 to help support his family. His first job was an assistant to a Commercial Photographer. Fellig also obtained extra money by taking street portraits. In 1918, he was employed as a Darkroom Technician and attempted to make a living out of it. By monitoring Police and Fire department radio calls he was able to capture large amounts of dramatic photos. The ability to be the first photographer on the scene of major incident, he was given the nickname Weegee. His photos appeared in all New York’s newspapers including New York Tribune, and New York Post. Etc.
I like this artist because, his pictures are different and mysterious and they don't look the same as other photographers. i like the whole dead body , blood type of stuff.
